A Joe Amaral Production

Joe began "dabbling" in the media in the early 1970's. Joe has worked in broadcast news and sports, as well as cable TV. Joe also works as an "on-set dresser" in the motion picture industry.

His first love was and remains still photography. Early into the 1990's Joe embraced videography and video production. Joe became part of the CVTV production team almost at the conception of public access in Vermont, and especially the Barre area.

Joe found public access as a vehicle to create entertainment television without the restrictions of broadcast/cable networks.

Joe's work and dedication was rewarded as he became the 2005 recipient of the Media Pioneer award for his work on Vermont District Court TV.

Joe continues his commitment to bringing entertaining work for Public Access viewing.

Joe is currently Chairman of the Central Vermont Television Board of Directors.

Camera 1: Libby Cookson

Libby began her initiating into public access by teaming up with Joe Amaral on several projects.

Libby's outgoing personality and creative train of thought has enhanced projects to a step up from the original script.

In 2007 Libby has become one of CVTV's most active producers. She is a familiar sight at many municipal meetings and local events.

Libby has also teamed up with Joe to create LIB/JO Productions. LIB/JO productions will kick off full time in 2009, with MANY interesting projects on the horizon.

Camera 2: L. Viss

L. Viss just sort of walked into the studio one day back in 1994 with a rather impressive resume in hand. L. was well groomed in the entertainment industry. There appears to be a shroud of secrecy surrounding Mr. Viss's past. It has been rumored that he may be part of the Federal Government's relocation program. With his work ethics we do not pry as L. Viss works like a hound dog.

L. Viss use to partner with Amanda Reconwith, but Amanda moved on and left L. Viss all shook up!
